My husband and I were on a flight to San Diego, he on business, me to continue on to El Paso. As the plane arrived in San Diego, he collected his things, kissed me goodbye and left with the other departing passengers.

"That's sweet," said the woman sitting next to us. "I always just drop my husband at the curb."
